We rent our beautiful house in Letzau. It is a single standing house with 2 floors, plus a very big fully finished basement with an extra attic upstairs for additional storage. Absolute beautiful view of the valley towards Weiden below us. Nice time/distance to Graf/Vilseck. Peace and quiet, no worry about stray artillery shells and you will have quiet nights!
Main (First) floor- living room, dining room with fireplace and access to the covered patio, built-in kitchen with Bosch appliances, pantry and guest bathroom.
Second floor: 3 Bedrooms. The Master bedroom and the second bedroom have access to the balcony. There is also a full-size walk-in closet and full bathroom with 2 sinks, large bathtub, separate shower and bidet.
Basement: one bedroom for guests or a teenager, one main big room (party room or you can also use it as big guest room), one hobby room, one storage room and one laundry / heating room. All basement rooms are with carpet, heater and windows.
The covered patio is super nice with stone flooring with an outside BBQ built into the rock fireplace with a beautiful view towards the valley.
AFN satellite hook-up with 4 LNB for 4 separate feeds.
Nice vegetable garden and apple and cherry trees and Goldfish pond.

The house is available officially 1st of August 2024, but we can work something out if you need to move in earlier in July.
Rent: 1800 Euro + 150 Euro utilities. The utilities included in the rent are garbage disposal, sewage, chimney sweeps and water. The tenant is responsible for heating and electric.

Letzau is a 5 minute drive from Weiden and 20 minutes from Grafenwoehr and 30 minutes from Vilseck. It is beautiful little village that has their own pre-school and kindergarten. The community constantly organizes nice festivals- "Oktoberfest", Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas Markets), Maypole fest, "German Fathers Day fest" and more. You will love it. The village is very friendly towards Americans.
If you choose to live close to the American bases you WILL hear a lot of gun / artillery fire at all times, especially at night time. You will not hear that at our location.
Our 2 year old daughter went to a very reasonably priced pre-kindergarten school, 5 minutes away, that is beyond AWESOME!
